TOURNAMENT RULES
- 4v4 format - no goalies
- One draw will be taken to start each game.
- A 3 pass attempt rule is in place to encourage more passing, receiving and sharing the ball.
- The 3 seconds of good defense is in place to reward disciplined defenders.
- Player can enter the crease after a goal to pick up the ball. Ball can be run out of the crease to start the play again.
- There is no restraining line.
- Flip charts will be at the midline of all fields. Coaches will flip the chart for their goals.
- Standings will be kept. Top four teams will move on to playoffs.
- 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie.
- Tie Breaker: total points, head to head, goals allowed, coin flip.
ABOUT THE MINI
Spring into gear before your spring lacrosse season!
Aligned to the Lacrosse Athlete Development Model (Lacrosse ADM), the event creates opportunities for players to come together to play and compete on a smaller field.
Two 4x4 foot cages are spaced 30 yards apart. The absence of restraining lines and the addition of free movement (players do not stop on the whistle) allows players to freely move on and off the ball.
