Calling all Beginner Lacrosse Enthusiasts! Are you excited to play lacrosse in the spring of 2024? Are you nervous about joining a clinic because you are fearful other kids may possess more skills and competence?
Well, if you have played fewer than 2 seasons and you are looking to improve your knowledge, technical ability and confidence, this 2 hour - 1 day clinic may be for you! Please consider joining us for a 1 day BEGINNER ONLY clinic on Saturday, March 16th from 3-5PM at the Edge Indoor facility in Bedford, MA.
This is geared toward the player who has never picked up a stick to the player who has had fewer than 2 seasons of participation. The clinic is open to players in 3rd-10th grade. Players will be paired by age and skill.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE
3:00-4:00: Stickwork, game tactics, small sided drills
4:00-4:35: Rules, speciality play-sets
4:35-4:00: Game related controlled scrimmage
THE GOAL
Players will leave the clinic with knowledge and with self-improvement drills. So much of skill acquisition in lacrosse comes from wall ball and individual stickwork training. Our coaches will train players on how to properly repeat desired skill sets. These routines, when practices routinely over 10-15 minutes a day will help the new lacrosse player grow technically and psychologically just in time for their spring season!
Whether you are a 10th grader looking to tryout for your High School team or you are a youth player just picking up the sport or the first time, this clinic will be highly beneficial!
