A LOOK INTO 2023-2024 BULLET PROGRAMMING
TEAM: BITTY BULLETS
Rising 3rd and 4th grade players seeking a lacrosse program that extends beyond the town youth program can now be found with our Bay State Bullet “Bitty Bullets” . We are thrilled to have an entry level opportunity to our 2023-2024 programming. Bitty Bullets will prepare players for full club tryouts in the subsequent years.
Our Bullet coaching staff will be recruiting rising 3rd and 4th grade girls who have either demonstrated an early talent and or who possess innate athleticism. Additionally, our Bullets organization is seeking players who possess an interest in learning more about the fastest game on two feet and who are looking to have fun doing so!
Our Bitty Bullet curriculum focuses on fundamental development through the facilitation of tag games, relay races and team building initiatives. We understand the difficulty of throwing, catching, cradling and shooting at our youngest ages. Our philosophy is to encourage growth and skill development through smiles, giggles and fun. Having fun is paramount when fostering interest and instilling a love for this game!
Bitty Bullets Program - Breakdown by season:
We are seeking to fill a roster of 30-35 players. The team will take part in six 1-day tournaments throughout the year. Three in the fall and three in the summer. Our youngest players will play small sided 7v7 lacrosse, so as to encourage multiple touches. They will play on shortened fields with no checking.
Our Bitty Bullets will be coached by Elaina Ferraro and Madi Van Horn.
Geared toward the rising 3rd and 4th grader, our Bitty Bullets offers aspiring lacrosse players an opportunity to develop technical and tactical skills at a pace less challenging and less rigorous than our full year lower youth teams. This developmental program has been put into place for players who wish to prepare for a full length and full field (12v12) Bullet team within the next 1-2 years. Talented rising 2nd graders may be considered for Bitty Bullet participation.

FALL- Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evening at Lincoln Fields in Lexington, Veterans Field in Waltham, and the Edge in Bedford. Will attend three fall tournaments.
WINTER- Practices and indoor winter clinics are held on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning/afternoon at Teamworks in Northborough, Teamworks in Acton, and the Edge in Bedford. Will have two practices per month in December through March.
SPRING- All spring games and spring practices are held on Saturdays in the morning/afternoon. Held at Lincoln Fields in Lexington, Veterans Field in Waltham, and the Edge in Bedford.
SUMMER- Week night practices hosted at Lincoln Fields in Lexington, Veterans Field in Waltham, and the Edge in Bedford. Will attend three summer tournaments.
