COACHES

KATE BALICKI

Kate Balicki joins the Bullets staff as a key member and has played college lacrosse at Wesleyan University where she has 84 career goals and 27 assists and helped Cardinals achieve a 15-4 overall record this season and compete in the NCAA D III semifinal tournament versus Tufts University this past May of 2023.

Prior to playing at Wesleyan, Kate was a 3 sport athlete at Wayland High School and was an All Scholastic player and a captain of the Varsity Lacrosse Team.

MORGAN BAXENDALE

Lacrosse has been such a huge part of my life since I was little! I started playing lacrosse in third grade and continued playing throughout middle, high school, and college. I recently graduated from Franklin Pierce University where I played four years of Division II Lacrosse. Although my lacrosse playing career is over, I love staying connected to the game through coaching! I was a summer camp coach for about three years while in college and I'm so excited to be a part of the Bay State Bullets with such a great group of people.

DANIELLE BRAZEAU

Danielle Brazeau is a former player at Franklin Pierce University from 2019-2021. As a Freshman in 2020, Danielle appeared in all four games for the Ravens, including three starts and was a Fall/Spring Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll selection

She transferred to Penn State University and achieved a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics this past Spring!

Before Franklin Pierce, Danielle was a four-year letter winner at Algonquin Regional High School (Mass.), as well as Team Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore.. She received the Coaches Award recipient as a junior and played at the club level for Bay State Bullets. She also lettered three times in indoor track & field, once in cross country and once in field hockey at Algonquin.

GRACE HANSEN

Grace Hansen graduated from UMass Lowell where she played Division 1 Lacrosse for four years. Hansen was a four year midfield starter, playing in every game. She loved every second of it and learned so many valuable life lessons. Hansen has been coaching lacrosse since she was in high school. Growing up in Stamford, CT, Hansen played and then coached for Gold Coast Lacrosse club before settling in the Boston area after her time at UMass Lowell. Hansen will attend Boston University in the fall to earn her masters in Neurobiology. Grace is SO excited to join the Bullets and we are thrilled to have her!

Emma Inouye

Coach Emma Inouye is a former Bay State Bullet and graduate of Weston High School.  She was a DCL standout midfielder!  We are so thrilled to have Emma back with us.  She is currently playing at Middlebury College.  Emma will be supporting at team practices, working as a clinician during many of our winter and spring programs.  She also provides excellent 1 on 1 instruction and is a great resource for those interested in private lessons.  Emma is an outstanding role model to our young Bullets and looked up to by many!  

Allie Jennett

Jennett graduated from Clemson University in 2015.  She returned home to Massachusetts where she attended Northeastern University and Simmons University to complete masters degrees.  Jennett grew up in Natick where she played at Natick High School.  She is now working as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Wayland High School.  This is Jennett's eighth season coaching in Wayland and her sixth year coaching for the Bullets.

She just got married in August of 2022 and lives with her husband in Hudson, MA. She loves to volunteer and when she is not in school or on the lacrosse field, she spends her time supporting students and adults with special needs.  Jennett is fired up to be a Bullet!!

 

JACKLYN KEANE

Jaklyn Keane was a Bay State Bullet 2018 alum.  A Framingham High School standout, Jacklyn took her star studded elite play to Franklin Pierce University.  A defensive lock- down defender, she led all defenders with caused turnovers and blocks.  Jackllyn was named Female Athlete of the Year her senior year.  We are thrilled she will be co-coaching the 2028 Silver team with Coach Freda

KRISTIN KEENAN

Kristin Keenan is a Methuen native and played her college lacrosse with the Framingham State University Rams.  She started in 61 out of 71 games in her four year career from 2014-2018. She recorded 42 career points and earned captainship her senior year. The college standout helped her team to a 16-3 record in her final year. 

Kristin is the owner of a BS in Psychology and currently works as a school Psychologist. 

Coach Keenan has a passion for this game and thoroughly enjoys working with aspiring lacrosse players.  She is very much looking forward to joining our team! 

 

Jackie Klaus

Jackie Klaus began her lacrosse career as a Framingham Flyer before playing collegiate WCLA at Arizona State University. From 2006-2009 she remained with the Sun Devils as an Assistant Coach, until she found an opportunity to share her passion for lacrosse coaching the Cologne Indians in Germany in 2010. Since then, she's been actively involved in the international scene coaching the Munich Lacrosse club to two National Championships after taking over in 2017, assistant coaching a European Championship (2012) with the Austria National Team, playing in a European Championship with Germany (2015), playing two World Cups with Germany (2013, 2017) and coaching the German U19 National Team in two U19 World Cups(2015, 2019). 

Jackie returned to Massachusetts in 2019 and is excited to return to coaching stateside with the Bay State Bullets!

Ally Leipzig

Ally Leipzig is a preschool teacher at Hills and Falls Nursery School and has been the JV lacrosse coach at Newton South High School since 2016.

She graduated from the University of Redlands in 2014 having been a four year starter on defense for the Bulldogs’ lacrosse team.  The team went to the NCAA tournament all four years and Ally was named to the All-SCIAC and the IWLCA all regional 1st team her last two years. 

Ally attended Newton South High School where she was a three sport athlete all four years. As a senior she received the Betty Sabetti award, which recognizes high achievement and leadership in multiple sports.

Paige MacEachern

Paige MacEachern is a Lynnfield native who was a four-year letter winner at Lynnfield High in soccer, track, and lacrosse. She also played lacrosse at UMass Lowell, where she played in all 17 games her senior year, tallying 58 points. As a 4 year attacker, she broke the program record in single-season goals with 44 goals and led the team in points. 

After graduating with her degree in Business Administration in 2019 at UMass Lowell, she realized how much she missed being around the sport. This is Paige's first season as an assistant coach. 

EMMA MARRS

Emma Marrs is from Old Lyme, Connecticut. She graduated from Wheelock College in ‘16 with a  Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Developmental Psychology. An impact player at the midfield position, Emma was a 4 year starter and 2-time Captain of the Women’s Lacrosse program, where she permanently holds the #1 spot in the program record book for Most Points, Most Goals, and Most Assists. In her time at Wheelock she won Student-Athlete of the Year, and 3-time First Team All-Conference, and 4-time All Academic honors. Emma is currently the assistant coach at Emmanuel College as well as the Varsity coach at Winthrop High School. She is also a teacher at Winthrop Middle School. Emma is excited for another great season coaching with the Bullets!

Maggie Meagher

Maggie Meagher played soccer and lacrosse at Ohio Wesleyan University.  She was a lacrosse captain and First Team Midfielder in the NCAC during her Senior year.  Meagher has been a varsity lacrosse coach in Massachusetts for 16 years.  She founded the Reading Girls Lacrosse Varsity Program in 2002.  Meagher was named Boston Globe Coach of the Year in 2009.  In 2011, she became the Woburn Girls Varsity Coach.  This past season, Meagher led Woburn to the North Finals.  A Middle School Physical Education in Woburn.  We are thrilled to have Maggie leading our 2022 Orange team.  

Rachel Monroe

Rachel Monroe was a four year standout at MASCAC powerhouse Westfield State.  She was a 1st team all conference in 2009.  Monroe is entering her fourth season coaching club lacrosse.  She is currently coaching the Varsity program at Reading Memorial High School, where she has been for five seasons and earning an MIAA tournament berth in four of those five seasons.

Lindsay Nixon

Lindsay graduated from Woburn Memorial High School in 2013, where she played lacrosse for coach Maggie Meagher. Lindsay then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in English at Framingham State University. She played lacrosse there for four years, while also holding the title of captain during her sophomore through senior years.

Lindsay also has a MS degree from Framingham State University and is now working as a Special Education teacher at Wellesley High School. She is also the Head Freshman Girls Lacrosse Coach at Wellesley High School. 

Samantha Pindara

Currently the Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Reading Memorial High School and Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Lynnfield High School.  2014 Graduate of Springfield College, where she helped the team win two NEWMAC Conference Championships in three years.  Pindara spent her freshman year playing at Longwood University in Virginia before transferring to Springfield.  

James Rippey

James Rippey is the current head coach at Framingham State University. Entering his 7th season, he has overseen the complete rebuilding of the women's lacrosse program at FSU. Between the 2014 and 2015 seasons, he led the Rams to the largest win percentage increase in the country for Division III. The 2017 team broke numerous individual/team records and set a new program mark for wins in a season which has been surpassed by the 2018 team that finished 16-3 and achieved the program's first NCAA Regional Ranking.

Mel Sharick

Melanie Sharick is the head coach at Framingham High School. Prior to that, she coached at Watertown HS. She coaches 2025 Orange. Go Bullets! Go Flyers!

Mel graduated from Wheaton College (MA) in 2015, where she played attack for the Lyons. As a four year starter, she helped the team win the ECAC championship in 2012, the NEWMAC championship in 2014, and was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll in 2015.

Originally from Amherst, MA, Mel was a standout at Amherst High School. After graduating from Wheaton, Mel completed a Master of Arts in Teaching at Smith College, where she worked as a graduate fellow with Project Coach - a sports based youth development program based in Springfield, MA. While at Smith, she also volunteered with the lacrosse team.

Mel also currently works as an educator at King Elementary School in Framingham!!

 

EMILY STAEF

Emily Saef is from Boston, MA and recently graduated from Emmanuel College with a BS in Communications. At Emmanuel she played three years of college lacrosse. A standout in the midfield, Saef was selected to the GNAC All-Conference First Team following a standout senior campaign. Saef led  the GNAC with 64 draw controls, ranking 20th in the country. She also joined the EC 100 point club and was named the 2021 EC Women's Lacrosse MVP by the Coaching Staff. Saef collected 110 points and 101 draw controls in the 26 games of her career at EC.

ANNIKA STREETER

Annika Streeter was a Bay State Bullet 2017 alum.  A Natick High School student-athlete Annika led her High School to much success in the MIAA Tournaments.  Annika went on to  play her collegiate lacrosse Under Coach Angela McMahon at UMass Amherst.  We are thrilled Annika will be joining our Bullets staff!

Madi Van Horne

Van Horn was a defender for the Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team from 2019 to 2022, starting 40 of the 41 matches she appeared in.  She finished her collegiate career with 62 groundballs and 35 caused turnovers.  In her senior season, she caused 20 turnovers with a season high of five caused turnovers at New Haven March of 2022. 

A two-time member of the IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll, Van Horn graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2022 with her bachelor's degree in biology.  Madi is now an assistant coach at Regis College in Weston.

Elisabeth Watson Rogers

Elisabeth Watson Rogers grew up in Bedford, MA where she played 4 years of soccer, basketball, and lacrosse at BHS ('12). Elisabeth was inducted in the Bedford High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021.  At the University of Rochester she was a 4 year starter for the Yellowjackets, with league honors her freshman and junior seasons. Elisabeth still holds the school record for most draw controls in a career (196).  Elisabeth graduated in 2016 with degrees in economics and business and currently is a supply chain manager for a small pharmaceutical company. This is Elisabeth's first season as an assistant coach. 

Johanna O'Neil

Our Bullets organization welcomes Johanna to our coaching staff this summer.  Johanna was part of a historic 2019 team which set a school record for victories, finishing the season 19-3 and advancing to the NCAA “Final Four". She appeared in seven games for the Jumbos in her junior campaign...recorded three ground balls in a 21-0 victory over Wellesley on 3/9.

During her sophomore year, she appeared in 13 games and earned three starts in her sophomore campaign. Johanna was a part of the 13-5 overall Jumbos and helped the brown and blue defeat FDU-Fordham in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, while netted her first career goal against MIT in the Jumbos 21-10 victory!

As a freshman O'Neil played in eight games and started in three of them where she assisted in the 21-0 win against Castleton on March 22nd. She also picked up 13 ground balls and caused six turnovers. 

Prior to her stellar career at Tufts, she was on the lacrosse, soccer and swimming teams at Concord Carlisle High School. She was Captain of the lacrosse team and won the Eastern Massachusetts Championship in 2015.

Jade Catlin

Our Bullets organization welcomes Jade to our coaching staff! 

Jade played one fall semester at Virginia Tech and then transferred to UMass Lowell in Spring 2022. Quickly, Jade became the leading scorer on the Riverhawks in 2023. Jade became the program record holder for most hat tricks in a career and most goals in a game (8)! Jade has appeared in 33 games for the River Hawks, making 24 starts … has totaled 42 goals and 26 assists for 68 points …  has a .695 shot on goal percentage … totals 35 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers … adds in an impressive 68 draw controls.

Prior to Jade's awesome collegiate career, Jade was selected to play for the Baltimore Under Armor All-America team in 2020. She won a National Championship with Baltimore! Jade was named #39 in the country for her graduating class in 2021 by Inside Lacrosse. She wa selected to play for the South in the Under Armor Senior All-American game. Jade also earned 4 x All-County lacrosse player in Frederick County, MD.
